Let there be light!

New and improved JBJ 28g HQI system!  Why settle for the stock JBJ 28g when you can get so much more? The Nanocustoms upgraded JBJ 28g features a remote electronic ballast, additional 2x18w Actinic PC lighting and Ushio 150W HQI bulb. The stock 28g system holds tremendous value, but these improvements will take your reef to the next level. The additional PC lighting will allow you to run a sunrise/sunset lighting schedule and bring out even more coloration in your corals. The electronic ballast is smaller, lighter weight, produces less heat and provides a more pure flow of electricity to your HQI bulb. This system will allow you to keep the aesthetic appeal with the high powered lighting that is required for SPS, CLAMS as well as your softies and LPS species.

The system includes the flowing:

150 watt / 14k HQI Metal Halide Ushio Lighting with Remote Ballast.
4 Blue Nite-Vu LED’s positioned on all corners for an even light dispersion with its own remote ballast for timer usage.
4 Cooling Fans (3000 RPM each fan) integrated into the hood.
Integrated Thermal Protection Chip that automatically shuts the HQI lighting off as an added safety feature if the fans were to fail.

This system also includes 2.18 actinic PC retro kit already installed which will help bring out the brilliant colors in your corals and allow for a sunrise/sunset lighting schedule.
