If you ask around, some of the most respected flourescent bulbs in the industry come from a company in the USA called, UV Lighting Company. With its roots firmly founded in the tanning industry, no one thought that 20+ years later, they'd meet up with a tiny company out of California to produce what we believe is the finest PC bulb for your Nano. 

We've been pushing for a superior PC bulb for quite some time, and after almost 3 years of prodding, UVL finally caved.

Featuring the bulb quality, phosphor and color selection that is second to none, UVL hit it out of the park with this bulb by adding a single letter, "R". 

What does R mean? 

Internal Reflector. Along the top surface of the bulb lies an opaque reflector that captures all the wasted light and reflects it down into your tank. By redirecting this light, the detrimental effects of PC bulb geometry (restrike, lost light) are minimized. 

The result? Up to 50% more light* without upgrading or adding ballasts.
